Our Story
At Generation 2 Generation Films, we are a team of passionate filmmakers who started as a small wedding & bar mitzvah video company in our founder's basement.
Over the years, we have grown into a full-service video and film production company that serves clients across the country with current Teams of professionals in Minneapolis, Los Angeles, and around the USA.
Our founder and CEO is Carl Wesley Anderson, himself a passionate storyteller since his teen years when he was trained at U.S.C. Film School. Carl built the most successful wedding & event video Company in the State of Minnesota, garnering 5 "Best Videographer" Awards in a row from Minnesota Bride Magazine. His company, "Princess Bride Cinematic Videography" filmed over 1,000 weddings and events in 25 years.
He took his vision for filmmaking into Television, and his TV Series, "From History to Hope" has won Gold, Silver, and Bronze prestigious "TELLY AWARDS" for Best New Historical Documentary Series and Best Editing, with the other winners in his Categories being PBS, Netflix, and the BBC. His TV Series re-tells amazing historical stories with modern impact.
He loves people and believes that "everyone has a story to tell and pass along to the generations to come."
He employs a Team of highly trained videographers and also creates every story himself, editing the stories and adding unique finishing touches to every film.
